Terms of Use
The short version: be decent, and the map is yours
Using Ochre
Ochre is a personal travel map. You may use it for your own, non-commercial purposes. By using it you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and recovery code safe. There is no email reset: without the password or the recovery code nobody, including us, can get you back in. One person, one account.
No tolerance for abuse
Usernames, names, pictures and anything else you put in front of other people must not be hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, impersonating someone, or illegal. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Accounts that break this are removed, and reports are acted on within 24 hours.
Blocking and reporting
You can block anyone — they will not be able to find or add you — and report them from their row in Add friends. Reporting also blocks.
What we provide
Facts, histories, costs, weather, exchange rates and advisories in Ochre are for interest and planning. They are approximate and can be out of date; always check official sources before you travel. Ochre is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Premium
Some features may be offered as Premium in future. Any paid subscription will be handled by the App Store under Apple's terms, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings.
Photographs and sources
Photographs and data in Ochre belong to their authors and are used under their licences, listed in Settings → Credits.
Ending
You can stop using Ochre and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is shown here before it applies.
This is the same text the app shows in Settings.
